- Start with the specific peptide.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. Different peptides have different roles; the word alone does not establish a benefit.
- Ask what is known about safety.
Risk depends on the compound, product and how it is used. Approval applies to a specific medicine and use. Research-use-only products are not intended for people, and a purity result does not establish safety.
Discuss personal treatment questions with a licensed healthcare professional.
- Check what was actually studied.
Was the study in people, animals or cells? What did it measure? How large and long was it? Early findings may leave benefits, side effects and long-term risks uncertain.
Our peptide library links to research by compound so you can explore the evidence and its limits.
