What PeptideWhy receives when you use the site.

Calculator and search

Calculator inputs run in your browser in the current theme code; they are not submitted to PeptideWhy by that tool. A site search sends the words you type to this WordPress server as a URL query, which may appear in browser history, hosting logs, and the page URL used by analytics. Avoid putting personal medical details into site search.

Visitor measurement

PeptideWhy uses Google Analytics 4 through the official Site Kit by Google plugin to understand visits, which pages people read, and which outside links they click, including links to JD BioWorks. Analytics can collect page URLs, destination link URLs, approximate location, device and browser information, and cookie or similar identifiers. PeptideWhy uses these reports to improve the site; we do not intentionally send calculator entries, email addresses, or contact-message text as analytics events. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Browser privacy settings and Google's Analytics opt-out add-on offer ways to limit this measurement.

Email updates

If you choose to join the email list, PeptideWhy stores your email address and confirmation status in the site's WordPress database. We send a confirmation email first; an address is not added to the confirmed list until its link is used. We do not ask for health information. Site administrators can see the list. Article update emails are not sent automatically. You can remove your address using the link in the confirmation email or by asking through the contact form. The address is deleted when you use the removal link.

Contact form

If you send a message, the name, reply email, and message are emailed to the site's configured administrator. The form does not create a public post or intentionally save your message in the WordPress content database. The host and email provider may keep operational logs. Avoid sending sensitive medical details.

Hosting, login, and external services

GoDaddy hosts the site and may process standard request data such as IP address and server logs. WordPress uses cookies for administrator login. The design requests fonts from Google Fonts. Following an outside research, community, or product link takes you to that site's own privacy practices.
