Why people look it up
KPV is discussed mainly because researchers have looked at its effects on gut inflammation and immune signals in cells and animals.

Evidence, sources & vial math
What the research actually showsHuman studies, evidence limits and mechanisms
What has actually been studied?
Mouse colitis and cell experiments suggest anti-inflammatory mechanisms. They do not establish treatment of human inflammatory bowel disease or other inflammatory conditions.
Evidence limits: Controlled human outcomes, human dosing, and long-term safety for this research vial are not established by the cited preclinical work.
Product status: Research-vial listings are not FDA-approved medicines. Approved-use labels on this page refer only to the named finished prescription product.
Human research
The reviewed KPV evidence is from cultured cells and mice; no directly administered human KPV treatment study was extracted. A human study of K(D)PT uses a different D-proline peptide and cannot be counted as a KPV trial.
Reviewed cited studies and the linked product or regulator documentation; absence of an extracted trial is not proof that no study exists.
Study and prescription-product amounts describe those sources. They do not select an amount for an online research vial.
How researchers think it might work
In cell and mouse experiments, KPV entered certain cells through a small-peptide transporter and reduced measured inflammation signals. That has not been shown to treat people.
Show scientific explanation
A primary study reported PepT1-dependent uptake of KPV, reduced NF-kappaB and MAPK signaling in cultured cells, and reduced colitis measures in two mouse models. It did not administer KPV to human patients. Read supporting source ↗

Change the vial total and final liquid volume to see what each U-100 syringe mark represents.
The starting 1 mL is a math example. Enter your final mixed volume to update the numbers.
100 U-100 syringe units = 1 mL. These results assume the labeled amount is evenly mixed through the final liquid volume.
